Darrell Pelan is a certified scuba instructor by the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI). He teaches Open Water, Advanced, Nitrox, and Dry Suit courses.
He started diving in 2005 for a Boy Scout Seabase adventure in Florida. Additional training and continued diving led to a Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Divemaster certification in 2009. The same year he began supporting the Wright State University (WSU) NAUI based scuba program in Dayton, Ohio. Darrell transitioned to NAUI as a Divemaster in 2012. In 2017 he achieved a NAUI Instructor rating. He completed his 600th dive supporting the WSU Master Diving program in 2018. He teaches scuba at WSU and offers private lessons through Adventure Scuba.
Darrell is a passionate diver who loves to share his love of the sport and offers a personalized experience focused on dive safety through education.
