Scuba Instruction

Scuba Diver – Let’s get started diving!

Scuba Diver is the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) entry level scuba certification. It provides the fundamental knowledge and skills to scuba dive. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are considered competent to engage in open water diving activities without supervision, provided the diving activities and the areas dived approximate those of training.

The course requires completing the e-learning, knowledge review with your instructor, 10 training hours in the pool, four open water dives in quarries, and one skin dive. The pool time is divided into three sessions. The open water dives are conducted over two days.

The course costs $575 which includes all training, scuba equipment, wetsuit, and quarry entry fees. You will also need personal dive gear (mask, fins, snorkel, boots). We can recommend a local dive shop to purchase a student package for about $225.

Advanced Scuba – Continue the Adventure!

This course is a continuing education certification course for certified divers. It is an enjoyable program of continued supervised experience designed to introduce divers to a variety of diving activities. The course is taught over a weekend with at least seven dives. Dives will include navigation, night, deep, and light salvage. A dive computer will be used during the course as well. The e-learning portion must be completed prior to the dive weekend.

The course costs $399 which includes all training, scuba equipment, wetsuit, and quarry entry fees. Students will need to provide their own personal dive gear (mask, fins, snorkel, boots).

Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) Diver – Dive longer!

Do you want to extend your bottom time, lessen your surface interval, and maximize every dive? The NAUI course will teach you to dive safely with enriched oxygen, understand the risks, and enjoy the benefits of increased bottom time. A must for boat diving.

The cost is $189 or $149 if taken with the Scuba Diver or Advanced Scuba class. The course includes e-learning and two Nitrox dives. The cost of Nitrox is included the course. Students must pay quarry entry fees and provide their own scuba gear or rent scuba equipment (mask, snorkel, fins, boots, regulator, BC, wetsuit, lead).
